Facility Manager

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 18 years or older

  2. Prefer some management experience

  3. Must have a valid drivers' license, clean driving record and a vehicle in good working


  4. 1-2 years of experience working with people who experience I/DD

  5. Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, E-mail.

Job Summary:

A Facility Manager is an entry level management position in a group home licensed as a 24 hour residential facility for people who experience I/DD. The Facility Manager ensures day to day operations of the group home are running per agency policies and procedures, supervises a small team of Direct Support Professionals, ensure medical, behavioral, and social supports as outlined in an ISP are provided to all the residents of the group home.​​

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Facility Manager must complete daily documentation within a variety of documents and for a variety of reasons, complete some direct care duties, complete grocery shopping weekly, review medications/MAR weekly, fiduciary duties overseeing cash on hand accounts for clients, petty cash accounts, etc... supervise employees, develop schedules, find coverage for open shifts, complete performance evaluations, schedule and take clients to doctor appointments, work closely with Case Management Entity, family/guardians, medical providers, vocational programs, etc.. to ensure all necessary supports are in place for each client, ensure ISPs are ran accordingly, help develop necessary supports for clients. Requires on call duties one week out of every 6 if there is a full complement of Managers. May be required to work overtime if there are open shifts within the program unable to be filled by DSP.
