We are currently looking for individuals to fill two key positions:

Direct Support
Professional (DSP)

As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with individuals with developmental disabilities to help them achieve their personal goals, enhance their quality of life, and foster independence. You will provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, including personal care, communication, socialization, and recreation, while promoting a positive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in their home or community.

  • Assist with daily living activities (e.g., grooming, cooking, transportation).

  • Help individuals develop skills to increase independence.

  • Promote social engagement, leisure activities, and community involvement.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to implement individual care plans.

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment for the individuals you support.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in developmental disabilities is a plus.

  • Compassionate, patient, and caring attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Provident Life - Special Needs

As a Resident Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential facilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve. You will be responsible for managing the team of Direct Support Professionals, coordinating care plans, and ensuring that all state regulations and organizational policies are followed. This role requires leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Direct Support Professionals.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and families.

  • Ensure that all facilities meet safety, health, and cleanliness standards.

  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.

  • Act as a point of contact for families, medical professionals, and external agencies.

  • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining records and reporting.

  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture and providing ongoing training and support to staff.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the healthcare or social services field is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and person-centered care.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
