Shannon Dabel

President of the Board

Turning passion into impact—that’s my story. I’m Shannon, Co-Creator and Chairman of the Board of Provident Life, Inc. My journey in the I/DD field began in 2006 when my family opened a foster home, eventually leading to PLI’s founding in 2018. Some of our first residents are still part of the PLI family today, and that continuity inspires everything we do. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Southern Oregon University and bring decades of hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex behavior and medical needs, guiding team growth, and developing programs that improve outcomes for both residents and the team. Creating environments where residents can flourish and staff can excel is what I aim for every day.

I’ve been married to my amazing husband for 30 years, and we’re proud parents of four and grandparents of six. In my free time, you’ll usually find me under the sea or exploring new corners of the globe—scuba diving, traveling, and serving missions in underprivileged communities. For me, PLI is more than an organization—it’s a calling to help every resident and team member grow, succeed, and feel truly valued.

Jared Dabel

Executive Director

From motorsports tracks to boardrooms, I’ve always believed in pushing limits and building something meaningful. I’m Jared, and my journey in the I/DD field began in my youth when my family opened an adult foster home. Since then, I’ve worked as a DSP, foster provider, resident manager, and program director—gaining hands-on experience at every level. I also developed leadership skills abroad in Guatemala as a team manager and project coordinator, and before founding PLI, I built and ran two successful businesses. Today, as Executive Director of Provident Life Inc., I oversee program development, ensure services meet state standards, and keep our mission at the heart of everything we do.

Outside of work, I’m lucky to share life with my gorgeous wife and our four rambunctious kids, with whom I love spending time outdoors—on the river, lake, or mountains—wakeboarding, snowboarding, drifting, or riding motocross. For me, leadership is about empowering others to grow, achieve their dreams, and live with dignity and independence.

Mindy Isabell

Program Director

Helping others isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I’m Mindy, Program Director at Provident Life, Inc., and I’ve been in the I/DD field since 2009. I started as a Direct Support Professional and quickly realized this was my calling. Since joining PLI in 2023, I’ve led the Program Management team, overseen quality assurance, and ensured every service reflects our mission, vision, and values. I hold a master’s in business administration, a bachelor’s in health administration, and am a certified Oregon Intervention System instructor. My experience spans positive behavior supports, high medical needs, leadership, and process improvement—helping staff and residents thrive.

In my free time, you’ll find me outdoors with my husband, son, and our French Bulldog, Ragnar—paddleboarding, camping, or fishing. I’m also an artist, wood-burning intricate maps of Middle Earth, Narnia, and Westeros. My favorite books are The Hobbit and Harry Potter, fueling my love for adventure, imagination, and a little magic in everyday life.

Ambee Hill

Office Clerk & Accounting Officer

When in doubt, choose kindness - I’m Ambee, Clerical Assistant at Provident Life, Inc., where I help support our mission of providing high-quality care in 24-hour residential group homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In 2022 I initially began my journey with PLI as the resident manager of our Shady Cove location. As the company grew, I transitioned into my current position where I have taken on a variety of responsibilities, including managing human resources, accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping, and play an integral part of the hiring team, among other tasks. I find joy and deep fulfillment in working with such a talented team and blessed to be part of the lives of our amazing residents.

On a personal note, I’m married to a retired Coast Guard Chief, and I’m the proud mom of two incredible daughters. As the oldest of nine children, family has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy the dynamic, supportive atmosphere that comes with it. When I’m not at Provident Life, I love hiking, reading (my all-time favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë), and looking forward to my next cruise adventure.

Heather Jones

Program Manager

I turn challenges into opportunities to help residents thrive and teams succeed. I’m Heather, a Program Manager at Provident Life, Inc. I started as a DSP in PLI’s first group home and grew into leadership roles as a Resident Manager and now Program Manager. Over the past 12 years, I’ve also worked as a Paraprofessional focusing on childhood development, IEPs, and behavior supports, and I’ve run my own daycare. I’m certified in CPR/First Aid and OIS. Every day, I ensure resident rights and dignity are upheld, lead program development, supervise staff, and promote person-centered supports and compliance with regulations.

At home, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years, and we have five grown children starting their own families. Weekends are filled with outdoor adventures—hiking, rafting, or snowboarding on Mt. A.—and spontaneous road trips. Music is a passion too, and you’ll often find me jamming with my daughter to our favorite tunes. Family, adventure, and creating joyful experiences are what fuel me every day.

Tim Seeley

Program Manager

Whether on the football field or at PLI, I’m all about guiding teams to thrive.  I’m Tim, a Program Manager at Provident Life, Inc., overseeing daily operations to ensure residents’ health, safety, and well-being. My career in special education began in 2012, and over the years, I’ve served as a Special Education Assistant, Teacher, DSP, and Resident Manager before stepping into my current role. I hold a master’s in Special Education K–12 and a bachelor’s in University Studies, with certifications in OIS, First Aid, and CPR. I guide program teams, develop effective supports, and ensure residents receive care that respects their independence and dignity.

I’m married to my beautiful wife, and we have four incredible children. In the fall, you’ll find me coaching football at Cascade Christian High School. When I’m not on the field, I enjoy outdoor adventures and spending quality time with family. Whether it’s my PLI team, football team, or family team, I’m dedicated to doing everything possible to help them succeed.
