Professional Behavior Services
At Provident Life Inc., we provide Professional Behavior Services to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who experience challenging behaviors that interfere with daily life, safety, or community participation.
Our team of trained behavior professionals works closely with individuals, families, and support teams to understand behavior at its root and develop safe, respectful, and effective interventions that promote long-term success and well-being.

What We Offer:
Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
In-depth assessments to understand the causes and purposes of challenging behaviors in order to design appropriate supports.
Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
Individualized plans that focus on proactive strategies, skill-building, environmental changes, and meaningful reinforcement to reduce challenging behaviors.
Temporary Emergency Safety Plans (TESPs)
Short-term, crisis-focused plans developed quickly to ensure safety and stability during periods of acute behavioral risk.
Protective Physical Interventions (PPI)
When absolutely necessary for safety, we use Oregon-approved physical interventions, always with dignity, consent, and within legal and ethical guidelines.
Training & Support for Care Teams
We train families, DSPs, and staff on how to implement behavior plans effectively, ensuring consistency and support across environments.
